En la escuela secundaria fue voluntaria en el Dpto. de Oncolog\u00eda del Hospital Cl\u00ednico Infantil Ruso. A los 19 a\u00f1os organiz\u00f3 un servicio para ni\u00f1os con enfermedades terminales y despu\u00e9s abri\u00f3 un hospicio para ellos.
