Luego de aportar ideas en la escritura de varios spaghetti westerns (<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00c9rase una vez en el Oeste<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> el m\u00e1s prominente de ellos), realiz\u00f3 a comienzos de los a\u00f1os 70 su famosa trilog\u00eda animal (<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El p\u00e1jaro de las plumas de cristal<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El gato de las nueve colas<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cuatro moscas sobre terciopelo gris<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">), descomunal \u00e9xito de p\u00fablico en una \u00e9poca donde el cine de g\u00e9nero italiano era consumido en todo el mundo.
