Atra\u00eddo por el cine a trav\u00e9s de la pol\u00edtica y la cr\u00edtica cinematogr\u00e1fica se dio cuenta r\u00e1pidamente de que el cine pod\u00eda ser un agente de transformaci\u00f3n en torno a temas como la justicia social, las cuestiones medioambientales y la liberaci\u00f3n de las comunidades africanas de todo el mundo. Su profundo inter\u00e9s por la cultura del Hip Hop y la danza ha alimentado su filmograf\u00eda. En 2017, cofund\u00f3 Black on Black Films, un colectivo de cineastas negros en Quebec.<\/p>\n<p>Sus pel\u00edculas anteriores son: Broken Strings (1999), Chocolate City (2003), Poetry in Motion (2004), Forever Loon (2010), Diversidad: a Roadtrip to Deconstruct Diner (2011), Drawing Blank (2012), Montreal: a Jazz Story (2019).
