Mirtha Legrand<\/strong>, at just 14 years old, takes on her first leading role in <\/span>Los martes, orqu\u00eddeas<\/i>,<\/span><\/i> alongside Enrique Serrano <\/strong>and Juan Carlos Thorry<\/strong>. The film, directed by Mugica<\/strong>, became a hit with both the audience and critics. It was awarded the Best Film and Screenplay prize by the Argentinian Academy of Arts and Cinematographic Sciences. <\/span>Alfredo Traverso<\/strong> makes his debut as the director of photography for the studios. <\/span>A year later, the book by Pondal R\u00edos and Olivari<\/strong> was acquired by Columbia Pictures to produce the adaptation <\/span>You Were Never Lovelier<\/i>, starring Fred Astaire and Rita Hayworth.<\/span><\/p>\n
