Today, we are pleased to announce that Vicente L\u00f3pez has been chosen, along with 54 other cities from around the world, to be a part of the <strong>UNESCO Creative Cities Network<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to UNESCO, &#8220;These new cities have been recognized for their strong commitment to harnessing culture and creativity as integral parts of their development strategies, as well as for demonstrating innovative practices in urban planning.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;The cities in our UNESCO Creative Cities Network are at the forefront of improving access to culture and harnessing the power of creativity for resilience and urban development,&#8221; stated Audrey Azoulay, Director-General of UNESCO.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In this way, by reclaiming its history, memory, and identity and through the preservation, digitization, and restoration of heritage, on this <strong>92nd anniversary,<\/strong> we give new meaning to the dream of the &#8220;Locos de la Azotea&#8221; who, on October 31, 1931, founded <strong>S.A.
