Some of the most important figures in Argentine show business, such as Nélida Lobato, Alberto Olmedo, and Sabina Olmos, passed through his studio.

The Finquel collection contains 2920 items, including 120 and 35 mm format negatives, flexible medium-format negatives, positive photographic prints, and original paper documents. Most of these were in an advanced state of deterioration. The entire project went through several phases. In the first stage, a general diagnosis of the collection was conducted to identify materials, damages, and treatment proposals appropriate to each case. After that process, mechanical cleaning with an air blower was performed on all the materials. In specific cases, hooks and adhesive tapes were removed, as well as surface cleaning of plasticizer due to advanced vinegar syndrome.

In the third stage, first-level storage guards were made for the individual storage of negatives and custom envelopes with acid-free paper to replace the original paper envelopes (which are also preserved for their archival value). This entire process was accompanied by the development of an inventory with fields appropriate to the characteristics of the photographic documents. Finally, the entire collection was digitized and subsequently uploaded to lumiton.ar.

The Finquel materials constitute one of the largest photographic collections within the Lumiton Archive.
