The Lumiton Archive inaugurates the new “Fondos” (Collections) section of its photo library with the Ana Baum collection. This is an extensive collection of photographs featuring the journalist alongside major Hollywood stars such as Julie Andrews, Alfred Hitchcock, Leonardo DiCaprio, and other prominent figures from the American film industry.
Anita Baum was an Argentine journalist living in Los Angeles and one of the most respected members of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, which awards the Golden Globes. One of the association’s requirements was a minimum number of publications in local media to represent one’s country. To showcase their work, these journalists would take photographs with the artists they interviewed. Ana’s articles were published in Revista Pronto, La Razón, Revista Cablevisión, Cine Top, among others.
