The Lumiton Studioswere pioneers in the national film industry, starting the golden age of our cinema. This was decisive for the growth and development of Munro City and its inhabitants in the 1930s. Lumiton is a fundamental part of the neighborhood’s memory and identity.
In that spirit, we created Comunidad, a virtual space of exchange in constant construction and expansion. Productions made in our workshops, results of calls for proposals, minimal stories and new proposals.
A collaborative experience where all narratives can have a place.
Radiography of a collective quarantine
OUR QUARANTINE IMAGE
This call arises fromLumiton in 2020 during the mandatory isolation in the framework of theCOVID-19 pandemic. With the aim of being able to create a collective record of the moment about this new scenario that we had to go through as a society, we invite the community to explore and document through the image. We receive Photos Portraits of the moment traveled from the own look; births, virtual encounters, a window, a birthday, breakfast or bed are some of these exceptional portraits.
OUR QUARANTINE STORY
This call arises from Lumiton in 2020 during the mandatory isolation in the framework of the COVID-19 pandemic. In this context, at this time without time, We call on the community to write using quarantine as a tool and trigger, opening a dialogue of reflection about this new scenario that challenged us and that continues to question us today. A writing space as a refuge, reflection or dispute; Going through quarantine in an unwanted house (or unwanted people), colluding with neighbors or rules of coexistence with the mother are some of these extraordinary stories.
WHAT HAPPENED TO US
These writings are the product of one of the writing exercises during the mandatory isolation in the framework of the COVID-19 pandemic. The goal? Write from trigger “What happened to us”.
