Vicente López City of Film
Vicente Lopez was designated a member of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network in the creative field of CINEMA in 2023.
The project, presented by Lumiton together with the Secretariat of Culture and the Municipality of Vicente López, was the winner and joined the network formed by other cities such as Rome, Cannes, Sydney, Busan, Bristol and others.
The city has been recognized for its strong commitment to harnessing culture and creativity as an integral part of its development strategies, as well as for demonstrating innovative practices in urban planning.

Vicente López is the third Film City in Latin America, together with Santos and the recently incorporated Penedo (Brazil). It is also the second Creative City at the national level, together with Buenos Aires, which was designated City of Design in 2005.
