TOMÁS LLANCAFIL

Tomás Llancafil is a transgender and tranvestite artist, a folklore singer, and a guitarist from Gaiman, Chubut. His musical journey began at the age of 5. During his adolescence, he participated in several festivals as a solo singer, specializing in folkoric and popular music.

As a singer, he has collaborated and shared the stage with artists such as Abel Pintos, Leon Gieco, Chango Spasiuk, Lu Mochi, Litto Vitale, Noelia Sinkunas, and others.

In 2011, he embarked on his university studies at the Faculty of Fine Arts at the National University of La Plata (UNLP), majoring in Popular Music. Currently, he is working on his debut solo album, resides in Buenos Aires, and actively participates in other music projects as both a singer and guitarist. One of these projects includes “Cachitas Now!” – a transfeminist cumbia band from La Plata.
